Coiled Kitchen Containers with Leanne Bray
Join Leanne Bray to create rope coiled vessels inspired by the bright palette of fresh produce. Open to all skill levels, this two-part workshop will see you craft a variety of small, colourful vessels, using just thread and rope, that are perfect for storing items such as chillies, garlic and ginger. Leanne will share stories of her travels through Africa and Asia and her knowledge of the long and vibrant history of baskets as containers for food.
Selected pieces will be showcased in an exhibition as a part of the Food for Thought project.
