ABOUT THE ARTIST
Sally Smith is a Walyalup/Fremantle based ceramicist who creates work that embraces essential beauty over conventional perfection. Exploring the expressive potential of clay through wheel-thrown and hand-built forms. Her recent designs are particularly inspired by the coastal landscapes and granite boulders of WA’s South West, blending durability with emotional authenticity in her unique pieces. Crafted from dark stoneware for everyday use, each embodies patience, imperfection, and a deep connection to nature.
