ABOUT THE ARTIST

Rebecca Hepworth is a Western Australian artist and illustrator working predominantly in drawing and painting using multiple methods and materials. The inspiration for much of Hepworth’s work is sourced from photographs, children's books and print media which she combines into intriguing compositions to create new meaning. Her current practice centres around reoccurring themes of humanity, our connection to animals and our shared environments. Hepworth has a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts from Edith Cowan University. Her work can be found in private and public collections.
