ABOUT THE ARTIST
Sofia Novoa is an artist born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with both Argentine and Italian roots. From an early age, she has been dedicated to craftsmanship, even having her own brand of accessories in Argentina. In addition to her passion for craftsmanship, she is a human rights lawyer, specialising in international law, which demonstrates her commitment to both creativity and justice. In recent years, Sofia has been exploring various metals and waxes for jewellery creation. Under the brand Pez Studio, she has found a sanctuary for her artistic and creative expression, where the aesthetics that flow from within are manifested. Sofia's work is a reflection of her devotion to the intrinsic aesthetics that reside in every human being and her courageous willingness to reinvent reality with each turn, forging new stories along the way. Sofia considers Pez Studio as a representation of the fusion of different parts of the world that have left their mark on her. After traveling to nearly all continents, she has blended her roots into a unique aesthetic that transforms with movement. Pez is culture, a testament to the richness of diversity and the aesthetics that arise from the fusion of different cultural influences.
