ABOUT THE ARTIST
Andrew McNamara is a contemporary woodturner creating bespoke, functional timber pieces that celebrate craftsmanship, materiality, and the rituals of everyday life. First introduced to woodturning as a teenager in Tasmania, McNamara returned to the craft decades later after a chance demonstration reignited his passion.
Guided by the natural grain and character of each piece of timber, he creates warm, organic forms that are both practical and enduring. Through his refined handcraftsmanship, McNamara produces timeless objects designed to be held, used, and cherished in the home.
