ABOUT THE ARTIST

Coby McDougall (she/her) is a Boorloo/Perth-based ceramicist, artist, and designer originally from Canada who splits the feeling of home between two west coasts. Her ceramic works are mainly comprised of quirky & colourful illustrated pieces, made using a combination of wheel-thrown and hand-built techniques. These pieces are (mostly) functional art objects that are intended to hold (both literally & figuratively) your favourite beverage, your best plant friend, or your feelings with that the same care and consideration thart McDougall puts into making them. McDougall believes that a little wonder and whimsy are an integral part of the every day.
