ABOUT THE ARTIST 

Greg established his pottery business, Hovea Pottery, in 1980. He works in stoneware, using gas and wood kilns and is interested in using local materials, clays for clay bodies, in slips and glazes and particularly using local wood ash in glazes. Greg has exhibited for over 40 years, locally, in other states and internationally. He was a ceramics lecturer for 28 years with TAFE in Perth and Sydney and has also taught and run workshops extensively in WA and overseas. He produces a wide range of thrown pottery, coffee mugs, large jugs, bottles, lidded vessels.
