You will learn a range of techniques (steaming and boiling) and develop an understanding of how pigments from plants are permanently transferred to fabric to create beautiful wearable pieces. Artist Bio:
Stitched and Bound Exhibition Artist in Residence Linda Penny is an experienced textile artist who loves to share her knowledge and passion for fibre arts. Beginning with dressmaking and quilting she discovered the joys of botanical printing and hand embroidery in 2019. She has been successfully combining these two passions ever since as she continues to learn and experiment with her ever increasing mountain of fabric.
