Marionette Puppets | The Pencil Case Art Studio | Kids Workshop
In this 3-hour workshop, young makers will design and build their own moving marionette puppet based on an animal or figure.
Guided by experienced artist and teacher, Anne Farrell, students will design and build their own moving masterpiece using a variety of arts materials. Bringing them to life through strings and wires, students will learn to move and control their character in a fun, small group environment.
An introduction to the timeless art of puppetry, this workshop offers a hands on lesson for young thespians and artists alike.

ARTIST BIO
Anne Farrell is a qualified artist and experienced educator, holding a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) and a Diploma of Education (Primary Teaching).
For over 16 years, she has worked as a Visual Arts Specialist in primary schools across Perth, nurturing creativity and artistic expression in young learners. In 2022, Anne launched The Pencil Case Art Studio, offering dynamic classes, workshops, and parties for children and adults alike.
She now balances her personal art practice with teaching, continuing to share her love of visual arts and creative learning with the wider community.
