Bativa: Giving Voice to the Voiceless documents the exhibition of the same title at the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery (2017) and the Geraldton Regional Art Gallery (2018).

This book features essays by artists, curators and researchers of the1629 Batavia shipwreck from the University of Western Australia, the Western Australian Museum and Edith Cowan University that examine the infamous maritime disaster and subsequent mutiny from archaeological, historical and artistic perspectives.
