ABOUT THE ARTIST

Robbie grew up in the Perth Hills with a two parents who were and still are heavily involved in the Arts. Having a studio in the backyard was more or less taken for granted until a couple of years ago when the Family had a pinch-pot making session at Christmas. Something clicked as soon as the ball of clay touched his fingers and he has been busily creating ever since. Robbie has attended multiple short-courses at Central TAFE learning from incredible West Australian Potters Warwick Palmateer, Lee Woodcock and of course his father Bernard Kerr. Robbie continues to develop his wheel throwing skills with most of his free time spend in his parents studio and is keen to get involved in teaching ceramics in the future.
