This linocut printmaking workshop, consisting of two three-hour sessions held over consecutive Saturdays, is perfect for beginners. The workshop offers accessible techniques for home and studio practice. Artist-in-residence and environmental educator Una Bell will guide you through effective linocut block use, image reversal, hand burnishing and how to use a printing press. Artist Bio:
Perth-based hills artist, Una Bell blends tradition and contemporary expression. She is an award-winning artist, whose work is widely collected and is also well known for her environment research, workshops, and publications. Una’s recent solo exhibition “Tree of Life” was held at Mundaring Arts Centre in 2024. As Artist in Residence at Midland Junction Arts Centre her latest exhibition “Ode to the Sun” is on from 26 February to the 6 April in Studio 1 and the Hallway Gallery.
