The abstract formations in salt lakes are always surprising. Each Summer the process of evaporation takes place and new patterns are formed. I love the textures found in salt lakes, the cracked surfaces and ripples of salt are amazing.
The Stick and Yolk image was in a series of four, recognised by the Photographer of the Year awards, gaining a top 30 placement in the aerial category in 2021. It also achieved a top 20 placement in the art portfolio category of the 2021 Australasia’s Top Emerging Photographers competition.
