ABOUT THE ARTIST 

Patricia Hines is a contemporary artist, print maker, and potter who lives and works in Dwellingup, Western Australia. Passionate about all forms of art, Patricia uses pattern and texture to reflect complexity, intensity, and simplicity. Her pieces evolve from the environmental experiences and stimuli of the landscape surrounding her home; the burnt trunks of the Marri, the raw energy of the 'katabatic easterlies,' and the Northern Jarrah Forest. Patricia has the curiosity to explore new ideas and experiment, which advances her long standing art practice to other dimensions.
