On Tuesday’s, the MJAC Printmaking Studio welcomes artists and beginners to experiment in all areas of print. Experienced printmaking specialist Jane Button will be on hand to guide you through your self-directed project. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your skills, these sessions provide the perfect opportunity to unlock your potential while in a friendly group setting with printmaking support.
Weekly Tuesdays from 5 May | 10am - 1pm | Suitable for 18yrs+
$30 | $27 MAC Inc. Members | Booking Essential, Spots limited to 8 people per session
Materials:
Participants are to bring their preferred materials e.g., paper, ink, fabric, stencils, lino etc. Three presses, chairs, lino tools, pencils, brayers, butchers’ paper and cleaning supplies are provided. Additional lino will be available to purchase at front of house on your arrival.
New participants will be given a studio induction prior to commencing
Artist Bio:
Jane Button is a printmaker and mixed media artist who makes small scale 2D and 3D works from her home studio in Wooroloo. She is inspired by the human face and is intrigued by the metamorphosis her characters undertake as they progress through different artistic processes from original images to completed works. She has a particular focus on relief printing, dry point and image transfer.
