DIMENSIONS and DETAIL:
hand-sawn sterling silver semi-circle layered over a brushed brass circle, creating a playful contrast of shape and tone. The brass element sits partially obscured behind the silver, giving the design depth and a subtle mid-century feel.
The earrings measure 19.7mm high by 15.7mm wide. Each stud is set on a 12mm sterling silver post with matching sterling silver butterfly backs.Each earring weighs 1.8g (3.6g for the set), offering a comfortable, balanced wear.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jana W Braddock is the practicing artist behind Volasa creations. Born to Latvian parents, Braddock draws inspiration from her rich cultural heritage. Her deep appreciation for the intricate patterns and symbolism of traditional Latvian folk art and costumes, blended with a modern, minimalist aesthetic – results in timeless, well-crafted contemporary pieces that transcend the boundaries of tradition and innovation.
