Artist Bios:

Nazerul Ben-Dzulkefli creates ceramic objects that sit in the intersection of ritual tools, markers for sacred sites and monuments for the safe-keeping of stories and memories. Through these objects, Ben-Dzulkefli discusses his connection to his family, ancestors, tutelary spirits and mythical beings of his homeland, and how they are forever linked to his newfound home in Perth via the vast water body that connects Australia to the Malay Archipelago. In 2022, Ben-Dzulkefli was selected to exhibit in Hatched and has since continued to exhibit in Perth and Singapore. His works are held in the North Metropolitan TAFE collection and private collections in Singapore and Perth.
