Botanical Painting in Oils and Acrylics | Stacy Gardoll
Renowned artist Stacy Gardoll’s botanical oil and acrylic painting workshop offers an introductory approach to creating detailed botanical artwork. Over two sessions, Stacy will guide you through her process of creating beautiful botanical painting in oils.
The first session will be spent drawing the subject, using a grid system, and producing a tonal underpainting in Acrylics. The second session will cover colour mixing in oils and learning to layer with oil paint. If time allows, you will have the opportunity to add details and texture.

Artist Bio:
Stacy is a Botanical Painter, with a background in theatre set design and painting. Her work can be found in numerous galleries in Perth, and recently she has been the recipient of two People’s Choice Awards- for Ellenbrook Art Gallery, and the Darlington Arts Festival. She has also fostered a strong relationship with Kings Park Botanical Gardens in Perth and was commissioned to paint their new species of waxflower entitled “White Diamond”. She is also an established member of the Mundaring Hills Open Studios.
