ECO DRYPOINT AND COLLAGRAPH PRINTMAKING WORKSHOP | JUNKO KITAMURA
Join exhibiting artist Junko Kitamura for an immersive eco-friendly printmaking course across two weekends. Explore drypoint and collagraph techniques with recycled and natural materials. Play with line, texture and surface as expressive, sustainable prints emerge through hands-on experimentation.
In week one, participants will familiarise themselves with drypoint and collagraph techniques creating a printing plate for each. In week two, begin printing and learn to adjust, re-cut and reconstruct for successful printing.
Suitable for all skill levels from beginner to experienced makers.

MATERIALS
All materials provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own apron and found or recycled materials for printing.
ARTIST BIO
Junko Kitamura is a Japanese printmaker and painter based in Western Australia. Her practice draws on cultural heritage and contemporary printmaking to explore relationships between natural and industrial environments through drypoint, collagraph and watercolour, with an emphasis on material experimentation.
