SEWN SPELLS: POETRY, SYMBOLS AND STITCH

SEWN SPELLS: POETRY, SYMBOLS AND STITCH

Regular price $110.00 $0.00

Join poet Lakshmi Kanchi to create a personal decorated textile object, and gain hands-on experience with poetic expression, ritual craft, and the embodied power of ancestral storytelling.

Drawing from the tradition of sewing protective spells into garments—wedding dresses, blouses, and cloth worn close to the skin—this workshop invites participants to create their own protective or empowering artefact. Through poetry, symbolism, and handcraft, we explore the act of making as a ritual of care, memory, and magic.
